Konami confirm a European release date and look who's going to be on the packaging...

Konami has confirmed a European release date for the eagerly awaited ‘Pro Evolution Soccer 3’.<br><br>Featuring Pierluigi Collina on the games packaging, the most respected and well-known referee in modern history, Konami has confirmed that the title will ship to shop shelves on October 17th followed by a PC version.<br><br>"Pierluigi Collina sums up everything that is great about modern football and Pro Evolution Soccer 3," commented Martin Schneider, Director European Marketing & PR for Konami of Europe. "He is an uncompromising, no nonsense figure who enjoys the respect of everybody in the game - from fans through to the world's most famous players and leading managers.
