Japanese reports allude to a carbon-copy of FIFA's surprisingly effective new mode...

Details from Famitsu regarding the latest edition of Winning Eleven (J League Winning Eleven Club Championship 2008) seem to suggest that it will incorporate a mode similar to FIFA's 'Be A Pro'. Fans of EA's footie title will know that the mode revolves around taking control of a single player and places more emphasis on position and movement to generally good effect.

Entitled 'Fantasista' (although that could be the result of our Jinglish), the mode suggests a similar low-level camera perspective and on-screen arrows to suggest where the player should position themselves - sounds suspiciously similar. Early information suggests that you'll be able to create the player, presumably developing his career until he becomes a superstar earning billions of yen and the adulation of the watching crowds.

Of course this version of the game (only on the PS2) will never make it out of Japan, although whether Konami plans to expand it onto the next version of Pro Evolution Soccer remains to be seen.

PES 2009 for PS2 is the biggest let down for a game, it is just awful with so many things wrong with it! I will never buy another PES game again! And I have bought all of the games when they came out including PES manager.

Fifa 09 sucks in front of PES 2009.

Far better graphics and reality

Fifa 09 is frugal. Its for kids below 15.

Guys, go for PES 2009. it is best
