Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 demo hitting the marketplace and store the day before FIFA arrives...

To combat the launch of FIFA 09 this week Konami have confirmed that a demo of Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 will be dropping on the Xbox Live Marketplace, PlayStation Store, and PC on October 2nd.

The demo features the choice of Manchester United, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona, or the licensed Italian or French national teams, so you can sample the customary improvements and new visuals and decide yourself which is the definitive footie title this year.

The demo also includes videos highlighting the game's 'Become A Legend' and online 'Legends' modes, allowing you to guide and develop the career of a promising young talent.

PES 2009 is scheduled for release on October 17th.
