Finally Konami of America confirm an American release for the superlative football series.

Konami of America today announced that the superlative Pro Evolution Soccer series is finally on its way to the US. Previously Americans have missed out on the series, and we’ve received a number of letters from our US readers asking why they’ve snubbed the American market in the past.<br><br>The game is expected to be based upon the superlative Pro Evolution Soccer 2, itself based on the Japanese title Winning Eleven 6. Konami previously held the Major League Soccer license, so we’re expecting to see American clubs replace the European ones seen in Pro Evo 2.<br><br>The game is scheduled for release in March 2003, we’ll have more information soon.<br>
