Konami of Europe celebrate sales of over 1 million copies, hurrah...

Konami of Europe today announced that sales of the subliminal Pro Evolution Soccer 2 have passed the 1million mark in Europe. This mean feat was achieved in the first forty days since the games release on October 25th.<br><br>The Japanese version of the same game – Winning Eleven 6 – notched up similar results, shifting 1million copies within eight weeks of going on-sale, which means that the title has sold an amazing 2million copies worldwide without even including the U.S!<br><br>KCET have recently finished work on Winning Eleven 6: Final Edition, which includes the improvements made to the Western version and minor online options; it’s believed that the team are currently in the design phases of the eagerly awaited Winning Eleven 7 whilst finishing the GameCube version of Winning Eleven 6, unfortunately it’s looking unlikely that the GameCube title will be released in Europe.<br>
