US reports claim that the Prisoner of War on the PS2 has been canned; we think this is a big LOAD of @!$&…

Certain US reports claim that the upcoming Codemasters title, Prisoner of War, has been canned for the PS2 and made an Xbox exclusive. In development at UK based Wide Games, there has been no word on this from the UK as the game moves near it’s July 19th release date, in fact we’re expecting final review code to arrive very soon. <br /> <br /> We contacted Codemasters last week about this title, and there was no mention of it being canned back then, to do so, so near to the games release would be suicidal. So we’d advise taking this report as heresy, we’ll try to get confirmation from Codemasters later in the day, but from this end everything is looking on schedule for it’s <a href= http://store.totalvideogames.com/Product.asp?WebRef=10106890>July 19th release</a>. <br />
