Following Introversion's decision to shelve Subversion comes word of a new hope...
Earlier this week, news surfaced from Introversion's forums which revealed that the indie dev is submitting a game to next year's Independent Games Festival, and that game is not the studio's previously revealed (and subsequently shelved) Subversion project. Now we have a name and first image for the new game.
RPS has the scoop, although information is a bit scant at this stage. Prison Architect is the title, and here's the core gameplay pitch: “Build and manage a maximum security prison”. It sounds a bit like Evil Genius or Dungeon Keeper, only with a prison.
