Altair Skin 'Reward' For Prince Of Persia News

By Jon Wilcox on 21/11/2008

Ubisoft confirms a gift for gamers who link their account with PSN or Live...

Following his commercial success in 2007, it seems that Third Crusade assassin Altair just can't get enough of the limelight.  Not content with making an appearance of sorts in Konami's Metal Gear Solid 4, the parkour-loving character has been revealed as a skin in Ubisoft's original acrobatic franchise, Prince of Persia.

The Altair skin is available to gamers who link their Ubisoft.com account with their PlayStation Network or Xbox Live accounts.

"Prince of Persia is an incredible experience. We're thrilled to give our loyal fans another way to journey through it," said Ben Mattes, producer for Ubisoft's Prince of Persia video game. "This exclusive reward is a 'thank you' to our fans, who can easily unlock it when they link their Ubisoft.com accounts to their Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 gamer identities."

Scheduled to arrive on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on December 5th, Prince of Persia sees a new prince try to stop an evil force from enveloping the ancient world.

it is definitely a beautiful game! it may not be a game for hardcore gamers but the mixture of miyazaki, tales of 1001 nights and the smashing graphics make the game a spectacular view for the eye and also a magical adventure.

Yeah, personally I find it a little hit-and-miss.  In terms of style I'm not dismissing it, but technically I think it's a little loose and rough around the dges in part.  Equally, check the animaiton there's nothing particualrly special over Sands of Time - excluding the nice animaiton whent he Prince and Elika trade places on the beam, I quite like that!

How can you give a 83% to the graphics, while they are critically acclaimed? What did you expect more?!
