Jerry Bruckheimer Films in negotiations to bring the Prince on to the silver screen…
It certainly appears to be the day for videogame to movie adaptations; having recently discovered that the rights to â??Soul Caliburâ?? have been snapped up, Variety is today claiming that Jerry Bruckheimer Films is negotiating a seven-figure deal to acquire the rights for Ubisoftâ??s â??Prince of Persia: Sands of Timeâ??.
Specific details are hard to come by, however itâ??s believed that the agreement includes a script being penned by the games creator Jordan Mechner.
Whilst videogame fanatics will likely scoff at the thought of yet another disastrous movie adaptation, it should be noted that both â??Soul Caliburâ?? and â??Prince of Persiaâ?? have been acquired by more reputable movie companies then the typical indie firms associated with the likes of â??The House of the Deadâ??; particularly with Bruckheimer behind the wheel, we can expect an action extravaganza to rival the Hollywood blockbusters.

dear, viewers, i think that prince of persia the sands of time is a classic game, which i think is the best video game i have ever played
