Ubisoft send us details on the dangers awaiting the Prince...

Ubisoft today sent us details and new screens from Prince of Persia 2, the sequel to last years critically acclaimed Prince of Persia: Sands of Time.

This time around the Prince finds himself hunted by Dahaka, an immortal incarnation of Fate seeking divine retribution. It seems as though the Prince was supposed to have died after opening the Sands of Time, however an unexplainable miracle saved him and as such Dahaka is out to make amends. His journey leads him to the infernal core of a cursed underwater island, said to be a breeding ground for the most brutal, unrelenting monsters to torment mankind and harbouring mankind’s greatest fears.

Ubisoft are promising a darker and a grittier experience then last years version, whilst the whole combat system has been greatly enhanced to allow you to take advantage of the environment; we’ll have a closer look soon.
