Prey Cheats on PC

Simplified third person view

Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "preyconfig.cfg" file in the game folder. Add the following line to the file:

bind "p""toggle pm_thirdperson"

Then while playing the game, press P to toggle third person view.

Simplified console

Start the game with the "+set com_allowConsole 1" command line parameter. This allows you to access the console while playing the game by pressing ~.

Casino Mode

Successfully complete the game to unlock Casino mode. Select "New Game" and "Casino mode" will be above Normal mode. Casino mode allows you to play the casino games in Jen's Bar.

Cherokee mode

Successfully complete the game on the Normal difficulty setting to unlock the Cherokee difficulty setting.

Cheat Codes

While playing the game, press [Ctrl] + [Alt] + ~ to display the console window. Then, enter one of the following codes and press [Enter] to activate the corresponding cheat function:

Result - Cheat Code
God mode and infinite Spirit mode - god
All weapons with maximum ammunition - give all
No clipping mode - noclip
Ignored by enemies - notarget
Extra health - give health
Extra ammunition for all weapons - give ammo
Spawn indicated object - give [name]
Spawn indicated object - spawn [name]
