EA Sports Complex first offering on Sony's stuttering online social service...

Sony's Home beta may have come under fire for numerous reasons during its first few weeks of operation, yet that hasn't deterred EA who today pledged support for the much maligned online social service.
Beginning with the EA Sports Complex launching this Spring, the area is designed to provide a "compelling" experience for casual and hardcore fans alike. Early details suggest PS3 owners will be able to play exclusive new EA Sports multiplayer games, meet and interact with fellow EA Sports fans, view enough stats to keep even the most fanatical stat fan happy, and watch trailers and access other content from EA Sports titles.
"We're proud to support the PlayStation Home Beta with a very robust offering from EA SPORTS," said Peter Moore, president of EA SPORTS. "As part of our continued commitment to the connected experience and the digitization of our business, the EA SPORTS Complex is a rich new online environment that presents a compelling and immersive social gaming experience for the global sports audience."
Further EA support has been promised later in the year so expect plenty of Burnout and The Sims styled complexes sprouting up across Home.

but if activision goes the ps3 will start to look like the sega saturn or the dreamcast (supprisingly both sega consoles lost developers cause sony was throwing it money around now it looks like the same fate is happening to sony thanks to microsoft and nintendo),
just cause its the most powerfull dont meen its the best if that what all ps3 fanboys will say there all hypocrits when the first xbox was miles more powerfull than the ps2 yet the fanboys said the ps2 was better ???.
all i can say is hard luck and finally solid proof the ps3 isnt winning the next gen consoles.

I've had my PS2 for over 7 years. Still works like a charm, and I play it whenever I get a chance to. Sony makes quality products that last a very long time. When the PS3 goes down to $299.99, I'll be purchasing it. I want one now...but c'mon, $399.99!? Have mercy, Sony.

do you know something if sony had told the world gamers that gt 5 was not coming out until 2009/2010/2011 do you think they would have sold as many units ???? i think not.prologues my eye. waste of time and £22.95p.i bought mine on the day of release,it sits there gathering dust.what a waste of £500.but bet your bottom dollar when gt 5 does arrive you wont find a ps3 except on the bay for the price of a decent family car.develepors get your fingers out and release what i hope is going to be the best driving sim of all time.
