Microsoft today announced that X’03 – its European press event held in Southern France – will host the first ever Xbox Live! global gaming tournament.<br><br>On September 17th, gamers from the US, Canada, France, UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Belgium and the Nederland’s, will be representing their countries and competing for national pride; the emerging champion will walk away with a trophy, a year’s supply of Microsoft Game Studios titles including ‘Halo 2’, ‘Fable’ and ‘Project Gotham Racing 2’, a copy of ‘Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six 3’ and the bragging rights to the best Xbox Live! gamer in the Western world.<br><br>To enter the tournament, gamers simply need to pick up a copy of ‘Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Island Thunder’ and start fragging enemies online immediately. This is their peak because of MGS4, Halo 3 did the same thing but in much larger numbers. 360 has a sick holiday lineup and they will cut the price by a hundred bucks. Then theres the new Xbox Live with Netflix and possibly a FREE Xbox Live by then. Resistance isn't enough to stop it.
