American gamers can now pick up a PS2, Network Adaptor and free game for $199...
As TVG suggested back in <a href=http://www.totalvideogames.com/?section=Read%20News&id=3486&gameid=2805&format=000001>May</a>, SCEA today announced a new bundle for the Playstation2 in America. Gamers will be able to pick up a Playstation2, PS2 Network Adaptor and ATV Offroad Fury 2 for $199, whilst a standard Playstation2 will now retail for $179.<br><br>It’s believed the move has been made to allow Sony to clear their stocks of old units, to make way for the newer model which features the Network Adaptor as standard. <br><br>No word as of yet as to whether a similar move is expected in Europe.

This is their peak because of MGS4, Halo 3 did the same thing but in much larger numbers. 360 has a sick holiday lineup and they will cut the price by a hundred bucks. Then theres the new Xbox Live with Netflix and possibly a FREE Xbox Live by then. Resistance isn't enough to stop it.
