Yet another limited edition Playstation2 hitting the European market…
In an attempt to squeeze yet more life out of the Playstation2, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) today announced that it would launch an Aqua colour version of the PS2.<br><br>A limited range of 220.000 units will be released across PAL territories from March, whilst a range of additional Aqua accessories will also be made available, including an Aqua Vertical Stand and an Aqua Memory Card.<br><br>It’s not yet known which PS2 model the Aqua PS2 is based upon, however we’d expect the same streamlined product that was introduced in last year’s Silver model.<br><br>The Aqua Playstation2 will retail for €199.99/£139.99 and will come complete with one Aqua Dualshock2 control pad.

This is their peak because of MGS4, Halo 3 did the same thing but in much larger numbers. 360 has a sick holiday lineup and they will cut the price by a hundred bucks. Then theres the new Xbox Live with Netflix and possibly a FREE Xbox Live by then. Resistance isn't enough to stop it.
