When everybody is forecasting doom and gloom, Sony report increased sales of the PS2 in Japan after the recent price cut…
Despite painting a grim picture, Sony today confirmed that the recent Playstation2 price reduction in Japan has seen a staggering upswing in sales.<br><br>Whilst many financial experts have claimed the Playstation2 is heading into its natural period of decay, Sony today confirmed that sales are up by 93% compared to the same period last year on account of the recent price drop to 19,800 yen (£106).

This is their peak because of MGS4, Halo 3 did the same thing but in much larger numbers. 360 has a sick holiday lineup and they will cut the price by a hundred bucks. Then theres the new Xbox Live with Netflix and possibly a FREE Xbox Live by then. Resistance isn't enough to stop it.
