Disney and Konami announce an agreement to develop Disney sports titles for the gameCube and GBA.

Konami and Disney have announced an agreement to develop and market Disney All-Star Sports, a new video game series featuring Mickey and his pals. The series will feature both team sports and extreme sports games, starring popular Disney characters as athletic all-stars. The six-sport agreement includes, football, basketball, soccer, snowboarding, skateboarding and motocross, which will be available only on the GameCube and GameBoy Advance this Autumn. <br /> <br /> The first games to be released in Japan on Jul 18th are Disney All-Star Sports: Soccer for both the GameCube and GameBoy Advance. These will be followed by Disney All-Star Sports: Skateboarding and Disney All-Star sports: American Football for the GameBoy Advance on July 25th in Japan. <br /> <br /> “Konami is excited to bring a whole new experience to console sports fans,” said Kunio Neo, president of Konami of Europe. “Disney's all-star cast of beloved characters combined with arcade-style sports games will yield incredible success for this new series.” <br /> <br /> “Gamers, sports fans, and Disney fans alike will enjoy playing the Disney All-Star Sports games with their favorite Disney characters,” said Jan Smith, president, Disney Interactive. “Disney Interactive is pleased to be working with Konami on this important company initiative.”

This is their peak because of MGS4, Halo 3 did the same thing but in much larger numbers. 360 has a sick holiday lineup and they will cut the price by a hundred bucks. Then theres the new Xbox Live with Netflix and possibly a FREE Xbox Live by then. Resistance isn't enough to stop it.
