Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End

Disney Interactive Studios has today confirmed the development of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End for seven platforms: Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PSP, Wii, Nintendo DS, PC.

Based on the events of the upcoming third part in the movie trilogy, and 2006's Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, the game follows Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, and Elizabeth Swann as they make their way to climactic encounters with Davy Jones, and Chinese pirate Sao Feng.

Fans of the Pirates of the Caribbean film franchise will experience adventures inspired by the second and third films while going far beyond the events of those films," said Craig Relyea, Vice President of Marketing, Disney Interactive Studios.

"With the action, excitement, unforgettable characters and expansive locations from the blockbuster films, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End will be the definitive 'Pirates' video game experience for fans. Our games go beyond the films to introduce legendary pirates, new locations and unique endings that will satisfy the pirate in each of us."

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End is scheduled for release in North America from May 22nd.
