Dark issues thwart 360 version on standard televisions...

Speaking to the BBC Ubisoft President Yves Guillemot has admitted that a mistake during the development of King Kong on the Xbox 360 has led to the title becoming virtually unplayable on standard televisions.

Embracing HDTV support the developers allegedly forgot about how the game would look on standard televisions, which are used by the majority of Xbox 360 owners in the UK at least.

"We have a problem on the 360," Mr Guillemot told the BBC. "The screen is dark on some TVs and it totally changes the experience. When it's dark, you don't see where you have to go."

Yeah, although I bought it and played it, I'm gonna have to go with the movie. This game has to much excess monsters and places to have to go before you can get your damn sugar off that island where t-rex's and fat velociraptors chase you and a giant ape is somewhere in the jungle humping Ann!
