French publisher snaps up Peter Jackson’s forthcoming re-make…

In a recent article published in the New York Times, it has today emerged that Ubisoft will publish videogames based on the forthcoming King Kong adaptation by Peter Jackson.

Sadly no specific details are mentioned, however it’s claimed that Jackson wants to have creative control and assist in the development of the game, marking an ever-increasing list of movie execs interested in the videogames industry.

In addition the article claims that the videogame currently in development at John Woo’s Tiger Hill Entertainment for SEGA, will be based around an elaborate heist and involves 25 SEGA developers joining the team at Tiger Hill to develop the title.

Yeah, although I bought it and played it, I'm gonna have to go with the movie. This game has to much excess monsters and places to have to go before you can get your damn sugar off that island where t-rex's and fat velociraptors chase you and a giant ape is somewhere in the jungle humping Ann!
