Ubisoft confirms that development has concluded on Peter Jackson's tie-in...

Development on Ubisoft’s big hope for Christmas has today concluded with the news that (get ready for it) Peter Jackson’s King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie has gone gold.

Based on Universal Pictures forthcoming feature-length movie, the Playstation2, Xbox, GameCube and PC will arrive in European for a release on November 17th, followed by the Xbox 360 alongside the launch of the system with Nintendo DS and Sony PSP versions to follow shortly after.

“Ubisoft is extremely excited to reach this milestone in collaborating with Peter Jackson, Wingnut Films and Universal Studios Consumer Products Group,” said Yves Guillemot, president and chief executive officer of Ubisoft. “The response among the media, core gamers and the mass-market audience has been tremendous and we can’t wait to launch Ubisoft’s most impressive and successful game of 2005 – Peter Jackson’s King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie.”

Yeah, although I bought it and played it, I'm gonna have to go with the movie. This game has to much excess monsters and places to have to go before you can get your damn sugar off that island where t-rex's and fat velociraptors chase you and a giant ape is somewhere in the jungle humping Ann!
