An unexpectedly amusing trailer for one of the most promising FPS titles of 2005...

UK publisher Hip Games has today provided TVG with the new trailer for itâ??s forthcoming first-person-shooter big hope for 2005, Pariah, and itâ??s fair to say that the format is more than a littleâ?¦unexpected.

Following on from Ubisoftâ??s light-hearted Third Echelon training videos for Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, the Pariah trailer focuses on the gameâ??s Multi-Player and Map Editing functions in a way that left us a little bemused.

Weâ??ve long been anticipating the release of Pariah ever since we were given an overview way back at EGN in August 2004, especially in regards to the gameâ??s functionality of Map Editing and upgradeable weapon systems â?“ the gameâ??s Live functions could well present a clear and present danger to current FPS Live leader, Halo 2 (and if thatâ??s not a warning to Bungie to release downloadable content then we donâ??t know what is.)

Weâ??re looking forward to playing Pariah shortly, and with a release date of May 3rd 2005, we wonâ??t have to wait that much longer...
