SCEE releases info on the 13 PSP Minis that are launching via the PlayStation Store today as the PSPgo launches...

With Sony's PSPgo launching worldwide today, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has released details of the 13 PSP Minis games that will be launching via the PlayStation Store today for the PSPgo and all previous PSP consoles.

Alien Havoc: Sounds like a platformer with ZX Spectrum homebrew sensibilities from developer Creat Studio. As an alien trying to transport cows onto your spaceship, you must avoid the attentions of farmers trying to stop you.

Bloons: This puzzle game from Hands-On Mobile focuses its gameplay around popping balloons.

Brainpipe: We've never heard of a game that challenges users to navigate the tunnels of their own mind, but apparently this is what Hands-On Mobile's Brainpipe does (fibre optic cable not included).

Breakquest: It's from developer Beatshapers and it's a bit like Breakout as far as we can tell.

Fieldrunners: Classic tower defense from Subatomic Studios.

Fortix: More tower defense action, this time from Nemesys Team Studio.

Funky Punch: Sounds like a fighter with a rhythm game twist - Solus Games.

Hero of Sparta: If you want God of War in a PSP Mini, this is probably what you should go for (from developer Gameloft).

Kahoots: Platforming action featuring different types of blocks and an arch-nemesis called Cardborg (from Honeyslug Limited).

Pinball Fantasies: Port of a classic Amiga pinball game by Cowboy Rodeo Limited.

Puzzle Scape Mini: As you might expect, it's a puzzle game with blocks, although there are colourful backgrounds as well by developer Farmind.

Tetris: The block-based puzzler that started it all (EA).

Vempire: Some sort of strategy puzzler by Impressionware SRL. Players collect artefacts and powers to negotiate levels with monsters in them.

not being funny, but even the saddest, most devout of fanboys isn't going to pay out all that money for a handheld that doesn't allow them to use their old games.

oh well good old sony fu.ck.s up its rrp on one console while making a good choice on another, the ps3's price is very good considering the fact that to get an xbox 360 elite and bluray player will cost over £300 compared to a ps3 which has one built in (for those that diddnt know) for £250.

i think sony are going to get a few sales from gadget freaks and a few curious people stupid enough to pay £225 for the psp go other wise like most people will still look for the psp 3000 or older handhelds and just buy bigger memory cards from play . com or try rival hand helds from nintendo like the ds and the dsi.

ps3 is okay price, but this is just stupid. Seriously, people will just be like "hmm, this or the new ps3 which is only £25 more" and it's obvious it'll be the ps3. Until Sony brings this down to £160ish, hardly anyone will buy. Even with the "free" gran turismo it probably won't be attractive. Normal PSP Gran Turismo = £150ish roughly.

Definitely, because there's not actually much more new technology in it other than a sliding screen and more hard drive space. Sony shouldn't be charging £45 more for this four years down the line.

Prolly yes, but still the price is just silly compared to PS3 slim, its just all sorts of wrong! lol

Considering how long the PSP has been out and the current climate (recession' n all) PSPgo! should be around 180 or there abouts.
