super amoled is still oled that's y OLED is in super amOLED. Just liked LED back-lit lcd are still lcd, just that the backlighting is LED instead of tradition CCFL.

Your argument is a fail. If you want to game and your you lose connection on onlive ... guess what ? you can't play anymore. Whie on PSV you can play your games since you have it on PSV cards or already downloaded on memory card.

You can go out and buy PS Vita games, instead of downloading them, if bandwidth is a concern.

Why did you buy every PSP revision when all of them have the same game line up. When you say the games stopped coming, if it stopped it would have been the same for all revisions.

it might be using Super AMOLED , they just refer it as OLED since it is still OLED. It however is not a pentile OLED.

You do know that the PS1 and PS2 was not the most powerful in their respective generation.

Do you also know that the PSV is the same price as the PSP when it launched?

You do know that the markup for the iphone/ipad is huge compared to the PSV (PSV is just breaking even/might be even losing Sony money) 

The PSV a Quad core cpu and quad core gpu. it's like comparing a ferrari (PSV) to a SUV (iphone/ipad)

You do know that all high-end Samsung smartphone uses OLED?

Have fun playing onlive for like 2 hrs it uses a lot of data (3g or Wifi) and good luck playing the game if/when you lose or have no signal.

i also think sony have taken a very stupid gamble, several years ago i owned a little mp3 player called "creative zen plus" it too had an OLED screen only 1 day the screen stopped working and i found out it would cost more than the player cost in the first place to fix, i do know however than this type of screen tech has improved (now updated and called SUPERAMOLED), sony has a division they partnered with erricson to make sony erricson, they even had a google phone with a gamepad using better screen tech than whats in the psv.

what really gets me is that the online game service thats now in the UK "onlive" is available on google handsets meaning with the right connection you can play games with vastly better graphics on the "play" that is far cheaper than the psv that has duel analouge controls and is almost certainly cheaper than the psv and you can use it as a phone too which begs the question "do you really need the psv" as the only difference is the back touch pannel and you can play offline ? while the majority of gamers play online games is there a market for the psv anymore ?

lol not only is the asking price way too high at £280 but also its absolutly rubbish when you try to play out side (youtube review by blunty3000) with all that tech inside the psv why didnt sony even considder using superAMOLED technology usetead of opting to use the older more inferiour but a lot cheaper OLED technology, basicly if you try to play in weather conditions such as very overcast or in the early hours of the morning or late afternoon or when its dark as proven by blunty3000 you cannot see what you are doing other than constantly looking at your own reflection in bright conditions, hell even well lit areas are a no go.

the 3DS might have its downfalls but at least it stands up to what its been built to be, a portable handheld gaming system, just typical of sony develop a system mile more powerfull than anyone else but dont acknowlage how or where its going to be used, it may fly off the shelfs but with where you can play it being one factor against it and its price being another its more than likley to flop worse than the psp and could be seriously damaging to sony's profit forcasts, if it doesnt sell very well i could quite asily see sonys gaming division share prices tumble.
