Konami Secures Torres, Announces Further PES 2010 Features News

Greater realism, player characteristics, Master League improvements and a new commentary system in PES 2010...

PES 2010

Move over Lionel Messi, Liverpool's golden boy, Fernando Torres, is set for equal billing on the PES 2010 box art.  But more important then that is the release of new details, as Konami attempts to wrestle back its crown from last year's resurgent FIFA.

Promising enhanced realism that focuses on the "triangulation" of passes and off-the-ball movement, Konami promises an end to "soft goals" with players needing to work the flanks and use the precision play of great players to make the difference.

Player characteristics will play a greater role in PES 2010.  Fernando Torres gift for receiving a pass in the penalty box and dropping the ball to a teammate in a goal scoring position, sees him attributed with the 'Fox in the Box' and 'Goal Poacher' characteristics.

Responding to fans demands, the Master League incorporates both the Champions League and Europa League, which should provide for a more comprehensive experience.  Konami suggests the allure of European football will help attract star players to your team, with transfers and contracts significantly more realistic as a result.

Finally, making sure to check all the boxes, Konami promises an overhauled commentary system from Jon Champion and Mark Lawrenson.  Tied to the on-screen action more effectively, the pundits will chat about player ability, significant match history and analysis.

pes this year is better because the shooting opportunities are better and the accuracy is better.  Ill admit, the gameplay in fifa is fun, but when it comes to shooting and longballs, it is a disgrace to the modern day football....football today is played by doing longballs and shooting from far out and that is what pes 10 has achieved this year.....

So the general consensus is if you play on PC get PES, but if you play on a console get fifa?

if you want to score the same goals over and over, year after year, then fifa is for you. FIFA is a come home from the pub and have a casual game kind of game, but pes is for real footie fans with real footie knowledge. just because it FIFA has all the licences doesn't mean it's better.

sound=86%??? have you ever played the game mister editor or what ever you are?.the sound in this game is not more than one big disgrace!!

i have both games, fifa 10 and pes 10(xbox360): fifa 10 is probably better almost in any category you choose - more realistic , much more fascinating,  the sound is alot better,  but some how in a very magical way, pes 10 is simply more fun to play  than fifa 10. in pes 10 you have almost 100% ball control and the shooting is absolutely astonishing, Basically you can shoot the ball where ever you like, because this year the shooting system is so much accurate.i found out that boosting some players in the "edit player" mode, is turn the game to a big big fun.i have boosted barcelona to 99 = brilliant!!!!!!
