Microsoft unveils the world`s first mouse created specifically for the games market...
Microsoft has unveiled their new Game Precision Series of peripherals with the Laser Mouse 6000, which has been specifically created with computer games in mind. The wired laser mouse has been developed for greater accuracy and performance with the software features including a â??Precision Boosterâ?? which enables gamers to flick between â??ultrafast speed and precision controlâ??, and a â??Game Toggleâ?? that allows gamers to switch between favourite weapons or frequently used actions. The mouse also features a scroll wheel with greater accuracy.
"We heard from gamers that they wanted a mouse designed specifically for their PC gaming needs, equipped with features and functionality that will optimize [sic] their gameplay," said Tom Gibbons, general manager of the Hardware Group at Microsoft. "We are now excited to say that we have answered that request with a perfect PC gaming solution: Laser Mouse 6000. Equipped with a thin, flexible cord for the feeling of wireless, gaming-specific software features, advanced laser technology and more, Laser Mouse 6000 will take gaming to a whole new level."
Also forming part of the Game Precision Series will be the Xbox 360 controller, which has been designed as cross-platform peripheral between PCs and Xbox 360; whether the Laser Mouse 6000 will also form part of Microsoftâ??s cross-platform ethos will have to be seen â?“ be we wouldnâ??t be too surprised to hear that it will be Xbox 360 compatibleâ?¦

Curious, is that a typo?

Actually Commodore is indeed a group of people with the name, but unlike previous restarts, this small group actually does pay tribute to the old c64 heritage they hold C64 parties and contests (demo's) and do work with the old enthausiasts. from what I've seen its a small group who really are going for it and i wish them luck

Hey anonymous that supposedly attended a trade show in the 80's: You haven't learned how to type, spell, or use better grammar in 20 years? And we're supposed to get something out of that garbage post? Plus, you DO realize that Commodore is, and has been for a long time now, a name. And that's all. The name has been passed around a little bit, but none of the same people run anything Commodore related. Any new Commodore we see will be in name only. Like Atari.
