Overlord II

Overlord II is the sequel to the hit warped fantasy action adventure that had players being delightfully despotic. In Overlord II, a new Overlord and a more powerful army of Minions take on an entire empire in a truly epic adventure, inspired by the rise of the Roman Empire. As the Glorious Empire conquers kingdoms and destroys any sign of magic it finds, it's time to go Minion Maximus and send in the horde.

"..headfirst into combat as a barrier to the surprisingly vulnerable main character. "

"We also never really felt the need to purchase new weapons and armour for the Dark Lord throughout the course of the adventure."

Ok, that made me smile.

Original OVerlord had the same orbs system: one orb for each kind of minnion. The difference is that in the original, each enemy dropped 1 kind of orb, while in Overlord 2 they seem to drop a random orb.
