EA Get Stranger for Spring 2005 News

Having recently confirmed that it has picked up the publishing rights to the latest title from Oddworld Inhabitants, EA today confirmed a Spring 2005 release for Oddworld Stranger on the Playstation2 and Xbox.

Oddworld Stranger sees players step into the role of the Stranger, a rough and tumble bounty hunter who tracks down outlaws for moolah. Weâ??re told that the game features a unique weapon system that brings a whole new meaning to â??liveâ? ammo, whilst a variety of deviant species and hostile challenges will greet the player.

Combining first and third person gameplay and an all-new engine, Oddworld fans should take comfort in the knowledge that familiar Oddworld elements will make an appearance.
