Sales of Nintendo`s pet simulator smashes through sales of 250,000 in the first week...
Nintendo of America has today announced that sales of the Nintendo DS pet simulator, Nintendogs, has topped over 250,000 units in its first week of release in North America. The game, set for European shores on October 7th, has taken the whole the territory by storm, especially in Canada, where Nintendogs has been cited for doubling the sales of the DS system.
"In just one week, Nintendogs has become a pop culture phenomenon in Canada," said Ron Bertram, Nintendo of Canada's Vice President and General Manager, "Nintendo is working overtime to get more units into storesâ?¦We encourage Nintendogs fans to check www.nintendo.ca to get the latest information on Nintendogs shipments."
