Nintendogs Due In October News

Having already taken Japan by storm earlier this year, Nintendoâ??s dog simulator will be released on Nintendo DS across Europe on October 7th 2005 in three different packages: Labrador Retriever, Miniature Dachshund and Chihuahua. Each pack will feature six different dogs including three breeds not available in the Japanese version, the Golden Retriever, Siberian Husky and Boxer.

After selecting a pup and giving it a name, players can then interact with their new pet via the touch-screen and stylus. Various activities, toys and treats can be accessed and used by gamers with their pup, with obedience skills increasing the more you play with it; the game also includes dog shows so all that hard work can be put into practiceâ?¦

The game also makes use of the Nintendo DSâ?? other capabilities including Wi-Fi so that owners can trade various items, and built-in microphone for voice recognition so the dogs listen to your commands.
