Free Gifts and Toys

While you can purchase new toys for your pup to play with, you can actually get some goodies for free if you know where to look. When you take your Nintendog on a walk, outline a path that goes by the blue "?" boxes marked on the map. Your puppy is likely to run off screen at those points and come back with a present for you! Your puppy will also randomly run to get presents for you if you leave the game on the "Home" screen for long. If left unattended, your Nintendog will leave the apartment and stay off

Compititions

Note that you can only enter 3 compititions in 1 day.

Extra Snacks

When a yellow light bulb or bone appears near your dog,use the stylus to move it around your dog's mouth and your dog will eat it.

Agility Contest

To enter this contest, you must go to the gym first. After that, you can enter this contest. The gym is located in the southeast part of town.

Cool Items

Before taking a dog out for a walk, be sure to pet him/her first. Stroke your dog with the stylus until some sparkles appear [bear in mind this also increases trainer points by one or two]. Then bath your dog until sparkling clean, also make sure they are fed, and watered. Trust me all this helps. Next take your dog for a walk and try pass as many '?' boxes as possible, put on a lucky collar if you have one, it increases your puppies stamina each time you go for a walk. Do all this correctly and you should get a really cool item like a Meteorite, RC Helicopter or Peach Cart. These items usually sell for £200 +.

Enter in a Dog Show More Than 3 Times

First, enter in a dog show if you are not happy with the score you have then, turn off the game and enter again.

Some Useful Hints

Heya everyone, i hope none of you have been taking the cheats on other websites to heart. It seems some people are trying to get you Gamers to destroy your data. If you see the Infinite Money cheat floating around, please ignore it, its the delete all data code.Anyway, i have been pondering around on my game and i have noticed a few things:

1. If you want a speedy dog for your all important disc competitions then i strongly advise you to get a Boxer or Pug. Trust me.

2. If you want a dog that performs well in Agility Competitions then choose a Labrador. Again Trust me.
It seems there are no real CHEATS, but i suppose so game doesnt need cheats, just hints and that. Remember folks, you see a cheat, think before you try it because you may regret it !!

Hidden Presents

You can normally buy toys and things for your puppy, or go by the blue "?" while on walks, but there are other ways to get presents for your pup. You can get them for free, might I add. On walks, there are presents not marked on the map. When you walk by them, give your pup a tug on the leash and he/she will get it for you. That simple. Of course, there are times when they pop up more than once. That's why I've accumulated a guide on how to get more of them. Here's some tips on how to find more of them:

Bad Competion

Before you do a competion always save your game because you may loose some data if you don't (but don't worry, you won't loose any data if you save). If you are in the middle of a competion and you no that you are doing really bad then just turn off your DS and go back and do another competion. And it won't count as one of your 3 per day as it would not have saved before you turned it off.

1 tip on agility training

When go to open class and you cant do the bridge thing or seesaw thing pull your dog back and slowly pull your dog back and it will go of the seesaw if this does'nt work contact me , good luck.

More tricks and competitions in 1 day

You can only teach your dog a limited amount of tricks and enter on 3 contests a day. But if you save the game and turn it off. Im the main menu befor the game starts change the date to the previous day and set the time to 23:59 wait a minute and turn it back on and you have a whole new day to enter more comps and teach your dog more tricks. Woop woop.

New trick

To teach your dog how to play dead tell your dog to lie down the put your stylus on its head and slide it to the right or the left. the do the same again except put the stylus on the dogs belly then tap the light bulb in the corner and say "dead" or "play dead " keep doind this until the dog learns the trick.
