Nintendoâ??s reluctance to host SpaceWorld in recent years was today confirmed, with the announcement that the Japanese publisher would once again forfeit the event, making it three years in a row that Japanese gamers have missed out on checking what Nintendo have in store.

However Nintendo representatives refused to rule out the show forever, stating that it will be back sometime, although stopping short of exactly when weâ??re likely to se itâ??s return.

In addition Nintendo confirmed that it will host a nationwide tour of Japan to promote the Nintendo DS instead of attending the Tokyo Game Show; again the Japanese publisher has forsaken the event in the last few years in favour of its own events.
