Nintendo also announces that WiiWare and the Nintendo Channel will go live in May...
Nintendo has announced that Super Smash Bros Brawl will be released on June 27th in Europe, three months later than the US and five months after Japan. Nintendo's latest European release schedule also revealed that WiiWare and the Nintendo Channel will be available from May onwards.
SSBB has been a huge success in Japan and the US, where it was released on January 31st and March 9th respectively. It sold a Nintendo record of 1.4 million copies in its first week of sales in the US and received a perfect 40/40 score from revered Japanese magazine Famitsu.
WiiWare, on the other hand, will be housed in the Wii Shop Channel and is set to offer a home for budget priced, innovative new games for the console's online service. Gamers will be able to download games for 500 Wii Points each when WiiWare goes live on May 20th.
Amongst WiiWare's launch titles in Japan (where the service went live on March 25th) were Final Fantasy Chronicles: My Life as King, and Everyone's Pokémon Ranch. Additionally, Telltale Games (the developers of Sam & Max) are making a new episodic series for the US WiiWare service, which is scheduled to go live on May 12th. There are still no details regarding the launch line-up of games for Europe.
The Nintendo Channel, which will arrive on May 30th, will offer users information on games that are scheduled for release on all Nintendo platforms, as well as those that are already on the market.

It doesn't matter how good the Wii console is, all the games are rubbish.
family bowling
Family fishing
Family execise
Family necrophilia
There is no point improving the console unless they sort the games out

Yeah, apparently Ninty are working on a new console with graphics to match PS3/60, and motion controllers/games are being created by PS3/60, so its all gonna be good in the end eh! :)

I really would like to see a Nintendo console with HD support. It's the standard, they really do need to catch up.

What Bing popups - are you on about MS search engine? If you're on about the textual ads, just avoid hovering your cursor above em - simple.
Information doesn't drop from the trees I'm afraid...

Just outputting to HD won't be enough - there will have to be increases to the Wii's GPU and memory to make the visuals look sufficiently better. the Wii HD is just a pipedream invented by an anlyst that doesn't actually get that many things right...
