It seems the Japanese just can't get enough of the DS Lite...
It seems Nintendo just can't put a foot wrong at the moment, with details from the Japanese launch of the DS Lite Pink model suggesting that the handheld format still remains the hottest thing in Japan to date.
Information from Famitsu suggests that queues of Pink DS Lite early adopters formed at 3:00 AM, with over 400 customers arriving by 11:30 - many of whom were female. Similar queues were encountered across Tokyo, with many retailers announcing that the DS Lite Pink had been sold out before the end of the day.
