Nintendo has today announced the Nintendo DS Lite, a slimmer version of the original dual screen handheld, confirming rumours and whisperings in recent weeks. Featuring brighter screens the Nintendo DS Lite is a third smaller and twenty percent lighter than the original DS, and was unveiled by Nintendo President Satoru Iwata. The system is set for a Japanese release in March.
Release dates for the revised edition in North America and Europe will be announced in the future.

Eh? Game & Watch? So I can only play one game ont he DS? Beyond a similar style and look with the original DS, I'm not really sure where the comparison comes from.
