600,000 DSi Sales In The West News

Nintendo announces a 50/50 split of DSi sales in Europe and North America in its first two days on sale...

Satoru Iwata has announced, via a speech to the Foreign Correspondents Club of Japan, that 600,000 units of Nintendo's DSi console have been sold in North America and Europe during the handheld's first two days on sale.

According to Iwata, the sales were split down the middle between each territory, with both the US and Europe tallying up 300,000 unit sales each.

In the UK, 92,000 DSi sales were recorded in the console's first two days on sale according to Chart Track figures that were released earlier in the week.
