Eidos Confirms Ninja Gaiden Sigma Content News

Three new survival modes heading to the PlayStation Store soon...

Ninja Gaiden Sigma

Ninja Gaiden Sigma fans will shortly have the chance to sample new content, with confirmation from Eidos that the first of three downloadable sets will be available on September 6th.

Dubbed 'Survival Mode', the new content focuses on battles as players combat an unrelenting stream of opponents and attempt to score a place in the World Rankings leaderboard.

The first set, 'Weapon Master', includes five survival stages with only a limited array of weaponry to use. The objective is purely to master each weapon and defeat as many enemies as possible.

The second download titled 'Speed Master' involves defeating opponents as quickly as possible, featuring a further five survival stages where time and the power gauge are limited.

Finally, the third download 'Rachel Master', challenges players to master the new female character across (yes you've guessed it) five survival stages to become the "World's No. 1 Fiend Hunter".

The content has been priced at 315 Yen (£1.31) each across Japan, although prices for the Western PlayStation Store have yet to be confirmed.

I think that the real issue here is money the 360 can do all the things PS3 can do and the price is right!!! Maybe 1080p is the next, next generation!!! At the moment you will only find a handful of games running at this resolution on both formats, The next year will be crtical especially for Sony (they have alot of catching upto do) the price war will continue with the 360 elite offering more space on hard drive and HDMI

After all those words the director of NGS said about 720p being the only best for PS3 games, NGS has been out and support 1080p!?! How ironic..

Whats this crap about the 360 being cheaper than the ps3.If the 360 lasts the estimated 10 year next gen lifetime you'll pay £400 just to play online,of course thats after you've paid £70 for the wireless adapter then £130 for the HDD then £35 for the quick charge adapter then £25 for a memory card reader.Oh & that 20G harddrive won't last long before its full so its an external hard drives or M$ add on 20G units that are £60 each.Even then there won't be game content on the HDD discs. The 360 is a damn sight more expensive in the long run & infereior.

Quote: There's alot of morons in every website I go to saying that the PS3 can't handle 1080p when clearly the PS3 can,now when it comes to the 360 the 360 can't handle 1080p on games." You certainly are one of them saying the 360 can't do 1080p games. Pop in Virtua Tennis 3 in the 360 and see for youself.
