SEGA confirms Wii Weather Channel functionality for the return of NiGHTS...

SEGA has today confirmed months of speculation that NiGHTS: Journey into Dreams will feature Wii Weather Channel functionality, the first time that the Wii application will be integrated into a title.

The game, due for release across Europe in the New Year, will use the functionality in the sandbox 'My Dream' area (and not the Campaign) to produce real-time weather effects according to the gamer's location in the world...so that will be near-constant drizzle over here then...

The 'My Dream' area allows players to raise the creatures captured by NiGHTS in the single-player, and according to details released by SEGA, develops 'organically' depending on the actions of gamers and the objects they drop into the sandbox.

It's bad enough that the very first boss battle is for some reason beyond my capabilities to beat, but EVER TIME I LOSE I HAVE TO SIT THROUGH THE SAME STUPID LITTLE SKIT AGAIN! I regret my purchase. Will not buy another "Sonic Team" game again.
