Nights' Wii return will feature network multiplayer and provide a breeding ground for those cone-headed Nightopians...
Since its unveiling details on the return of SEGA's cult hero Nights have been relatively thin on the ground. Whilst Takashi Iizuka's vision so far appears to have remained faithful to the iconic 1996 Saturn title, the lack of information has cuased a few concerns that this will be a sequel by name only.
However, it appears SEGA have been listening, with details of the game's multiplayer mode and confirmation that Nights: Journey of Dreams will feature network support at launch. Unfortunately, they're not willing to divulge too many details on the specifics, but confirmation that they will feature is better then nothing at least.
Having brought the Nightopians to life in the original, SEGA also assures us that A-Life will remain an important feature of the sequel, enabling players to capture, raise and create strange Nightopian hybrids in the open sandbox environment.

Nonskippable cutscenes are an abomination and I absolutely hate this game because of them. It's bad enough that the very first boss battle is for some reason beyond my capabilities to beat, but EVER TIME I LOSE I HAVE TO SIT THROUGH THE SAME STUPID LITTLE SKIT AGAIN! I regret my purchase. Will not buy another "Sonic Team" game again.
