Frank O'Connor reassures Halo fans by revealing, "We certainly haven't seen the last of Master Chief"...
Speaking as part of a panel during the San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend, 343 Industries' Frank O'Connor has seemingly confirmed that the Master Chief will return in future Halo games.
Referring to the end-scene of Halo 3, O'Connor said, "We'd have to be the world's biggest a**holes not to follow through," according to IGN, before clarifying: "We certainly haven't seen the last of Master Chief."
O'Connor is certainly confirming what everyone had already suspected with that comment, although it'll be interesting to see whether 343 Industries gets straight back onto the Master Chief storyline with its first Halo title or waits for a later project to confront the Halo 3 cliff-hanger. More as we get it...

I don't think it's too much of a surprise, it's been pretty well documented that Halo would continue - could you really imagine Microsoft saying 'That's it' on their biggest franchise?
It's Bungie's last Halo but MS has a whole studio dedicated to prolonging the franchise.
