personally i dont play o buy for that matter games for their realism i play games to escape realism but that is my opinion and everyone is entitled to one

post 38, any idea why websites have the function to add comments underneath articles / videos etc?  that's right, to discuss the subject.  and a discussion should be able to contain positive and negative points of view about the subject without idiots like you telling people to shut the censored up.  8-)

halo has sold millions because it was packaged with the 360, i already said that mate.  all games packaged with consoles go on to sell loads (because the sale of the game with the console is included in the sales numbers).

it's the graphics that make halo childish, because they are cartoony looking due to the artwork and the colour pallette used.

the multiplayer is fun, but not for that long.  hence why more people play other games online more than halo.

why is killzone 2 better?  because it's a dark, gritty sci-fi story for adults.  with much better and realistic looking graphics.  stunning sound.  ai that is actually intelligent (unlike halos, which is just as bad as cod and the rest of them).  and you feel like you're running and firing a gun because they've put effort into the movement and weapons, unlike halo where you feel like you're floating through maps firing paintball guns.

it's all obviously just my opinion.  i just cannot for the life of me understand why it's so highly rated.  there are lots of shooters that are better than halo in every way.

lots of sales does NOT equal a good games, it equals a well advertised game 99% of the time.

lmao.  not many people are jailbreaking the ps3 yet, and cracked games that work on it are pretty hard to come by too.

unlike the 360, which was hacked from day one and you can get pretty much every game for it.

and don't get sucked up by halo's hype.  there is ONE reason the games sell so much, they're usually packaged with the 360.

perhaps people play cod all day instead of halo, because halo is a childish, cartoony looking sci-fi world.  it belongs on a nintendo, not a 360 or any other serious gamers machine.

killzone 3, even the single map multiplayer demo, is outstanding and blows every halo out the water.

you're probably going to call me a ps3 fanboy.  i'm not, there are lots of games on 360 i rate!  halo, is NOT one of them and bungie are one of the most overated studios ever in gaming's history.

but each to their own.
