Super Mario's Success News

By Chris Leyton on 30/05/2006

NEW Super Mario Bros gets off to a great start across Japan, becoming the fastest selling DS title ever...

It seems as though Mario's still got it, as sales of his latest title push close towards the million mark throughout Japan.

With 480,000 units of the NEW Super Mario Bros sold within the first day of sale, making it the fastest selling DS title ever, Nintendo have recorded close to 900,000 in the five days since the game's release.

European gamers will finally get a chance to savior the return or Mario and Luigi when NEW Super Mario Bros is launched across the territory on June 30th; expect further information soon.
