EA reveal the European and North American ETAs for the next Need for Speed game...

EA have announced release dates for the next instalment in their Need for Speed series. Expected to inject some much needed nitros oxide into the combustion engine of Need for Speed, ProStreet will be available on the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PS2, DS and PC on November 1st in Europe, and October 31st in North America.

Following the familial format, Need for Speed ProStreet will challenge gamers with the task of building their own modified street racer and then taking part in racing events such as drift, grip and drag challenges. In a new addition to the Need for Speed series, ProStreet will also feature speed challenges.

"The Need for Speed franchise has always been on the cutting edge of car culture," said Executive Producer, Larry LaPierre. "Street racing is getting more organized and Need for Speed ProStreet is our interpretation of where we anticipate the culture to be in three to five years. We're delivering on the ultimate proving ground, bringing you out of your neighborhood back alleys and on to the world stage. This is a next-gen game, packed with the raw intensity and visceral aggression that defines street racing at the highest level."

Ok pro street hasn't free roam, but!!!! it is more realistic playing it than Carbon. You can destroy your car if you are crap, where Carbon just bounces off everything. It's a real challenge to win properly without the auto fix.
