Months after arriving in North America and Japan, the trainee ninja finally gets a European call up...

Atari and Namco Bandai Games Europe have today confirmed a May 2007 release for Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles on PlayStation2.

Released in North America last Autumn and based on the Jump anime character, Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles follows the story of the ninja trainee as he fights to save Hidden Leaf village, and strives to become a great leader. The game will feature a number of ninja attacks from the anime, and a number of Naruo's friends including Kakashi, Sasuke and Neji.

The last spring release of Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles will come just weeks after the European launch of Naruto: Ultimate Ninja, which arrived on PlayStation2 earlier this month.
