Ubisoft Shed Light On Naruto: Rise of a Ninja News

Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto bursts onto the Xbox 360 later in the year courtesy of Ubisoft's uber-like Montreal studio, and after months of waiting the French publisher has finally decided to shed some details.

Chronicling the origins of Naruto, his struggles to be accepted, and his task to become the greatest ever ninja, Naruto: Rise of a Ninja covers the series' beginning up until the 80th episode. Employing a slick visual style, it seems as though Ubisoft Montreal have transformed the anime onto the Xbox 360 with impressive ease.

Expanding beyond the fighter foundations favoured by the Clash of Ninja series, Ubisoft Montreal have created an action/adventure for the Xbox 360 with heavy RPG character customisation, Prince of Persia-like platforming, and traditional one-on-one fighting with the expected Ubisoft flair and style.

Roaming freely, Naruto fans can expect a wide variety of locations from the manga and anime series, exploring the Konoha Village and its nearby surroundings. Along the way Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi all make an appearance in the game, along with numerous other characters from the Naruto cast, each of which can be selected for multiplayer battles.
