New Naruto For Christmas News

Ubisoft has today confirmed the development of a follow up to the 2007 Xbox 360 title, Naruto: Rise of a Ninja, entitled Naruto: The Broken Bond.

An exclusive title for Xbox 360, The Broken Bond sees the newly respected young ninja attract the envious eyes of village rival Sasuke, who is tempted away from his home and start a rival clan by Naruto's enenmy, Orochimaru. Helped by his friends, it's now up to Naruto to rescue Sasuke from the clutches of Orochimaru before it's too late.

"Featuring vibrant and imaginatively detailed settings, NARUTO: The Broken Bond will take players on an epic journey through an accurately recreated Naruto world," said Christian Salomon, vice president of worldwide licensing at Ubisoft. We're excited to continue in the Naruto: Rise of a Ninja tradition, boasting the only video game in the franchise that features an online multiplayer mode that lets players compete against their friends in tournaments over the Xbox LIVE, online entertainment network, and also gives players the opportunity to relive genuine moments of the anime, while exploring the open universe of Naruto."

Namco Bandai is currently working on a PlayStation 3 exclusive Naruto title, Ultimate Ninja Storm, which is also expected to launch across Europe before Christmas.
