Creative Assembly announces a February 23rd release date for its standalone expansion, Napoleon: Total War...
Napoleon: Total War, Creative Assembly's standalone expansion to last year's Empire: Total War, will be released in the UK on February 23rd according to the developer's official Twitter account for its Total War series of strategy games.
"Napoleon: Total War will be released on 23rd February 2010!" reads the totalwar Twitter.
Although this date falls on a Tuesday, which is unconventional for European releases, the date isn't quite so unconventional for the Total War series as Creative Assembly and SEGA launched Empire: Total War on a Wednesday last year.
We've been checking out a preview build of Napoleon: Total War over the last few days, so stay tuned for our initial thoughts on the game next week.
Update: It looks like February 23rd might be the release date for Steam, as we've just received a schedule from SEGA that lists a retail release of February 26th for the game.

There will be a drop-in multiplayer campaign mode. When playing in the single-player campaign, you can chose to open up your game to the servers and allow opponents to join your game as an enemy faction.
