Mix of Namco classics heading to Nintendo's consoles from March courtesy of Atari...

The long-term relationship between Atari and Namco Bandai has today been continued with news that the publishers have struck a deal that will be see 'Namco Museum Remix' released on Wii and 'Namco Museum DS' on Nintendo DS from March.

The compilation of titles, which includes Xevious, Pac-Man, Galaga, and Dig Dug, will include a virtual arcade along with control systems that take advantage of the unique features of both consoles. The Wii version will also include a collection of titles with revamped visuals.

Several of the games will include multiplayer modes, including Pac-Man VS on Nintendo DS (which will include Downloadable Play for up to four players), though it's unclear as to whether either release will see Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection support.

The Namco Museum collections of past hits have previously been released on a range of platforms including PSP.
