NCSoft License Unreal Engine 3 News

Online specialists become the latest to license Epic’s next-gen technology...

Leading online specialist, NCSoft, today confirmed that it has entered into an agreement with Epic Games to license the Unreal Engine 3 for future development.

NCSoft have previously utilized Unreal technology to power the likes of Lineage II, and becomes the latest in a long list to adopt Epicâ??s technology for next-gen development.

â??We have been very pleased with the support and technology Epic has provided in the past,â? said Harry Kim , Chief Strategic Officer of NCsoft . â??We are especially excited to be working with Unreal Engine 3. The new tools, technology and content pipeline will allow us to achieve stunning, next-generation, results in the least amount of time possible.â?
