EA Disputes SEGA's 1080p "First" Claim News
EA's NBA Street Homecourt set to pip Virtua Tennis to the 1080p crown by a month in the States...

Earlier in the week, SEGA Europe announced that Virtua Tennis 3 would be the first Xbox 360 title to take advantage of the console's recently updated ability to handle games in 1080p resolution.
However, the publisher's unveiling has been countered by Electronic Arts with confirmation that NBA Street Homecourt, which is being released in North America on February 20th (a month earlier than Virtua Tennis 3), will also support the 1080p resolution - subsequently making it the first "Full HD" Xbox 360 game.
Electronic Arts announced Homecourt's resolution to industry website Gamasutra, along with confirmation that the 1080p output would run at 30fps.
